I am Kanchan Oze.

I am a lucky person to have a language which Saint Dnyaneshwar has glorified as अमृतातेही पैजा जिंकी (Sweeter than nectar) as, my mother tongue!

Mother Marathi has a very rich literary heritage. Many writers, poets, saints have left an ample wealth of Marathi literature for us.

While reading the literature of these great writers, I also started penning some poems. Poetry and music are things that bring happiness in human life, there is no better tool than poetry to express our emotions effectively.
A good poem can change a person’s entire life.

As I wrote many poems, even when I was learning in school. Sometimes, I used to read my poems in college and sometimes in friend’s circle. Sometimes they were criticized, some suggested some changes, and sometimes my poems were praised.
Many such poems went into oblivion. Now in this digital age, as the poems are being saved in phone/laptop memory, poems started living in collections. Some well-wishers suggested me to publish a book of my poems, but I want that the Poetry Lovers (काव्यरसिक) should be able to read and enjoy the poems freely on their mobiles, tablets or desktops. That is why I have started this website with the aim of doing my duty to serve Mother Marathi by reaching out to those who love poetry.
